Elizabeth Gutierrez
Period Project Specialist
Liz Gutierrez is a second-year master’s student in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University, where her research focuses on women’s health and how the menstrual cycle influences body composition and metabolism. She is passionate about advancing education and policy surrounding female health, believing that greater awareness and resources can empower women to better understand their unique physiology. Beyond her academic work, Liz enjoys teaching yoga, traveling, and golfing, and she is excited to bring her research background and enthusiasm for women’s health advocacy to The Policy Project.
