Volunteer With Us

It takes all kinds of people and all kinds of talents to move good policy forward. When you volunteer with The Policy Project, you become part of a passionate community committed to doing real good for real people.

Impact Teams

Be part of a regional group of volunteers working together to bring policy efforts to life in their communities. From organizing food drives to hosting postcard-writing gatherings, Impact Team members create real change where they live.

Perfect if you’re looking for flexibility (~5-10 hours per month), want to show up locally, and make a meaningful difference in your community.

Operational Volunteers

Operational Volunteers power The Policy Project by bringing their time, skills, and creativity to essential roles that keep our mission moving forward. From marketing and event planning to videography and data tracking, these volunteers make our work possible.

Great if you prefer more consistent (~3 hours per week), project-based opportunities.

Student Advocates

Student Advocates bring one of the most powerful voices in policy — their own. When lawmakers hear directly from the students they're making decisions for, it makes a difference. From filling out a quick survey to speaking in a committee hearing, there's a role for you here.

Perfect if you're a current middle or high school student in Utah who wants to make a difference.
