The primary responsibilities of this role are leading advocacy efforts, collaborating on policy initiatives, and fostering strategic relationships with elected officials, policymakers, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders.

This role makes sure that policy wins actually change lives in communities by owning the day-to-day execution of implementation across multiple policy areas—turning strategy into action, equipping partners and agencies with the tools they need, and making sure policies don't just get adopted, they stick.

Policy Project internships offer an amazing opportunity for any student interested in non-profit, advocacy, and policy work to get hands-on experience in building a movement and creating positive change. We are seeking applicants from a variety of backgrounds and will work with our interns to identify projects that align with their interests and career goals. Potential projects include policy research, content creation, event planning, data collection & analytics, fundraising & grant writing, and more. Both undergraduate and graduate students may apply.
