Janalyn White

Southern Utah Impact Team Lead

Janalyn White attended both Utah State University and the University of Utah. For nearly ten years, she was the sole woman working in the IT Department of the Washington County School District. Deeply committed to community involvement, Janalyn has long been passionate about volunteering. While raising her four children, she held nearly every role in the PTA—including President and Vice President for Legislative Affairs—and also served as School Community Council President.

She currently serves on the Friends Board of the Washington County Children’s Justice Center and volunteers proudly with The Policy Project. Janalyn has a keen interest in the legislative process—a shared hobby with her husband—and enjoys advocating for policies that support school-age children, higher education, and women’s issues.

Janalyn has been married to her husband, Courtney, for 30 years. They have four adult children, two dogs, and one “grand dog.” In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, troubleshooting tech issues for friends and family, cooking, and indulging her love of fashion—especially beautiful shoes and handbags. She also loves to travel and is an avid Disney fan. This past summer, she and her husband explored Spain, France, England, and Norway.
